Lenten Devotions and Activities at St Michael's
Ash Wednesday. 5th March - Mass with distribution of ashes:
Vigil (4th) 7.00pm, 9.00am (St Martin's School), 12.00 noon.
Holy Hour. Each Monday of Lent (10th March - 31st April), 7.00 - 8.00pm. Quiet prayer with Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament. Ending with Night Prayer and Benediction. Come for all or part of the hour.
Stations of the Cross.
Each Tuesday & Thursday after the Mass and 20 minutes before each weekend Mass.
We Dare to Hope. 7.00pm in the church on Wednesdays.
Being the Year of Jubilee with the theme 'Pilgrims of Hope', we will follow a sereies of reflections developed by the Domincan Sisters of the New Forest:

19 March The decision to Hope
26 March The Prayer of Hope
2 April Hope against Hope
9 April No session
16 April Christ our Hope
Lenten Walk With Me Booklets and Family Calendars are available at the back of the church.
Service of Reconciliation, Monday 14th April, 7.00pm. This will include the opportunity for the Sacrament of Confession with a visiting priest.
